Toyota is way above the competition with over 5.000 sales for the year vs. just 1.750 for Volkswagen at #2, with Nissan also above the 1.000 mark on the podium. If the Top 5 is unchanged on 2017 with Ford and Isuzu, Great Wall makes a very impressive reappearance inside the Top 10 directly at #6 while Mahindra comes up to #9. Model-wise, the Toyota Hilux (+4.4%) sells almost four times better than the #2-ranked Nissan NP300/Hardbody (-1%) while the Toyota Fortuner (-20.5%) and VW Polo Vivo (+23%) knock the Ford Ranger (-33.6%) down two spots to #5. The Toyota Land Cruiser PU remains strong at #7 while the Isuzu KB and Nissan NP200 make it 6 pickups in the 2018 Top 9. There are 5 Toyotas and 4 Volkswagens among the Top 10 passenger cars, with the VW Polo Vivo (+23%) coming short off toppling the Toyota Fortuner (-20.5%) by just 10 units. The VW Tiguan is up to #7, the VW Jetta remains at #9 and the Ford Everest breaks into the Top 10.
