The Singaporean new car market is back into negative territory in October at -5.6% year-on-year to 6.759 registrations, sending the year-to-date volume down 8.9% to 67.528 units. Toyota (-19%) reclaims the brands top spot for the first time since last March with 19% share and despite a hefty fall, while Honda (+35%) and Hyundai (+30%) both shine in the remainder of the podium but Mercedes (-23%) and Mazda (-28%) struggle below. Note Toyota sales include Lexus. Volkswagen (+69%) and Audi (+35%) also post formidable scores inside the Top 10 whereas Nissan (-46%) crumbles down. Further down, notice Skoda (+1733%), Lamborghini (+500%), Maserati (+118%), Seat (+91%) and Mini (+24%).
