Thanks to our partnership with Lightstone and , here is official data for Namibia in 2016. Toyota remains master in command in the brands ranking, outselling Volkswagen, Nissan and Ford like in 2015. Isuzu overtakes Chevrolet for #6 while Audi leaps from outside the Top 10 directly to #7, with BMW also breaking in at #10. Looking at passenger cars only, Toyota distances Volkswagen, Ford, Hyundai and Nissan in a Top 5 unchanged on 2015.

The Toyota Hilux is the standout favourite once again in Namibia in spite of sales down 19% to 3.440, outselling the Ford Ranger 3.5 to 1. The Isuzu KB soars four spots on 2015 to land in third place, and the Nissan NP300/Hardbody makes the Namibian podium 100% pickup trucks. The VW Polo Vivo (-20%) remains the best-selling passenger car in the country despite a harsh decline, it distances the Toyota Fortuner and VW Polo. The VW Tiguan replaces the Golf as the 10th most popular passenger car in Namibia this year.
