An estimated 2.779 new light vehicles found a buyer in Bulgaria in November, bringing the year-to-date tally to 28.893 units, already close to the 29.675 sold over the Full Year 2015. The big event this month is Renault overtaking its low-cost stablemate Dacia to take the brands year-to-date lead at 3.401 vs. 3.385 sales thanks to 375 units sold in November vs. just 179 for Dacia (#7). Skoda (10%), Toyota (8.9%) and Volkswagen (7.6%) all evolve above their respective YTD levels while Ford (6.7%) is below. Opel (5.9%), Kia (5.1%) Citroen (3.7%) and BMW (3.4%) also overperform but Nissan (4.7%) disappoints in 10th place. Justifying Renault’s domination this month is the Clio taking the lead of the models ranking with 5.3% share, distancing the Skoda Octavia, Nissan Qashqai and Renault Captur. The Opel Astra shoots up 23 spots on October to #5 vs. #17 year-to-date, the Kia Sportage is up 9 spots to #7 and the Citroen Berlingo up 23 to #8. The year-to-date leader, the Dacia Dokker, falters to #15 this month with just 46 deliveries.
