The Volvo XC90 is up to #81 this month across Europe.
As is the tradition on BSCB we now go into fully detailed data for Europe (30 countries). In the brands ranking, Mazda (+57%), Hyundai (+37%), Volvo (+33%), Renault (+29%), Peugeot (+27%), Dacia (+24%) and Fiat (+23%) deliver the largest improvements inside the Top 20. Further down, Mitsubishi (+55%), Jaguar (+71%), Lexus (+93%), Tesla (+101%), Ssangyong (+116%) and MG (+119%) shine. In the models ranking, beyond the Top 20 we described a short while ago, the Skoda Fabia is up 51% to #27, the Renault Kadjar breaks into the Top 30 at #30 with 11.106 sales, the Hyundai i30 is up 82% to #32, the Fiat 500X shines at #39 and the Hyundai Tucson is strong again at #40.
The Fiat Tipo lands just outside the European Top 200 in December.
Excellent month also for the Mitsubishi ASX (+224%), BMW X1 (+99%), Skoda Superb (+97%) and the Volvo XC90: the new generation is up… 4646% on the previous model a year ago, shooting up to #81. Among recent launches, the Opel Karl/Vauxhall Viva is up 10 spots on November to reach a best-ever #79 with 4.678 sales, the Renault Talisman is up 41 ranks to #168 and the Fiat Tipo nameplate reappears in the European ranking after a 20 year-absence at #202 with 667 units sold – note Turkey isn’t included in the European data.
