The new car sales outlook in Croatia is getting more sombre every month, with December down 48% year-on-year to just 1,331 registrations, one of the lowest ever monthly figures for the country. That Volkswagen monopolises the models podium in Germany, although relatively rare, is somehow understandable, but the German carmaker has made it a habit this year to reiterate this feat outside of its home country. After Norway, Austria and Switzerland, it’s the turn of Croatia this month (like one year ago), with the VW Polo leading the way for the 4th time this year at 52 sales and 3.9%, followed by the VW Passat at 46 sales and 3.5% and the VW Golf at 45 units and 3.4%…
The Peugeot 208 confirms it now a force to be reckoned with in the country at #4 with 37 sales and 2.8% and should aim at a podium ranking over the Full Year 2013. The Skoda Octavia is up 8 ranks on November to #5, the Renault Megane up 6 to #6 and the Peugeot 308 up 10 to #10.
